His Leadership Her Trust:
Out of everybody in the world who has been an inspiration to me, influential in my development as a man, or someone whom I looked up to, Dr. Miles Monroe ranks in the top 5. In fact, the process I used to select my wife was based on principles I learned from him.
I first saw him preach at Jericho Baptist Church in N.E. DC. when I was 23. He completely blew my mind with his wisdom and how he broke down complicated stuff. He is the chief person (other than Jesus and the Apostle Paul) responsible for shaping my views on marriage and leadership. If you liked anything I’ve ever written or said, then you must watch this snippet from the man from whom I learned it.

Brother’s: If you’re a man who doesn’t “like His presence, ain’t working, can’t cultivate and improve her, can’t protect her, and don’t know God’s Word, then it is good for that man to be alone.” Miles Monroe

Phenomenal!
Danielle, I never took a Black Lit class but that brings up a good point. The copy of the book that I read from the liabrry was labeled as “African American” and I wonder if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Does it scare off as many readers as it attracts…or even more? I wonder what Gaines feels about always finding his books carrying some kind of label?
why is this little pisher Ed Fagan terrorizing people with a law license he shouldn’t posses? Where is the oversight? More of the same old nonexistent self regulation and self serving policing. Bring in the Feds.
I took a cooking class with my dad last fathers day and it was such a good time and a great way to spend time with the people you love. I really want to get Toly into one. I think a romantic cooking class would be a great date night!
Thanks for taking the time to post. It’s lifted the level of debate
PB&J on a corn husk? I doubt it. Who would eat a corn husk with anything? I've had them on flour tortillas before. Works just fine. I like them, but they're fattening, so I don't eat them anymore. Finding racism everywhere is not their only problem. Grade inflation is the biggie. To make the unionized teachers and the overpaid administrators look good they now give grades for study hall, to help raise the overall average. So if you're barely passing major subjects, your A in study hall will pull you (and them) through.
this or that is over on this blog.In Larry’s defense, I don’t see how he has kept up with the blog and the legal proceedings. He has always been forthright with me.By saying this, I am not questioning your intent Victor, but anything that detracts from the primary objective of revealing the real Obama must be minimized.
So MR, you didn’t manage to find the lyrics, I take it? Will see if I can dredge them up today.M, I thought the whole ceremony was beautiful. The Aboriginal singer’s voice was beautiful and yes it was very poignant…
